Bearcat is at a meeting of her secret society. Mr Snuffs has been given some coffee money and is hanging with the boomers here at DB uptown.

June 1st....Finally..
I have a cold, after a rough start this morning I managed to get out in the back yard and weed and straiten things up. Bearcat bought me some pseudo-ephedrine. Bearcat got the window boxes complete. So things will be looking nice. I slept for an hour in the afternoon. For some reason its cold again. Its been a long couple of weeks with a lot of time spent in a bus.
That is all...

Friday night and bearcat is out with the ladies...
Found some good music and drinking a couple of beers. Chilling out here. 50 hour week. A little rain and some heat and the trees are just exploding. Finally. Had to mow the back yard because the grass is back to life. Bearcat is hopefully returning with a snack.

Just a sad story for you.
Teen couple jump to their deaths from Stone Arch Bridge
You don't have to read it. I did and it was sad, a young couple from Wisconsin deciding it wasnt worth it and jumping off that bridge. Usually when I am over there at the beautiful stone arch bridge the weather is nice and all sorts of people are out walking and looking around and taking in the scenery. People get married on that bridge. take pictures of each other on it, so i suppose that it would be a nice place to die. I can say that I would want to die in a beautiful place like the stone arch bridge. but I'm 45 years old, not 18. That just seems like such a mistake. There were a load of exciting things that happened to me in my twenties, like, first time things. Things that i want to remember. Of course there were horseshit things too. really painful things. But overall it was OK. And I am glad that I lived thru it.
It just makes me sad I guess. Oh well..
Onward.....

Dont try and eat a salad at local coffee place
Nothing but sugary carbs available at local coffee establishment. Brought in my salad asked to use microwave. Just makes everyone uptight. Don't do it. It doesn't matter if you spend tons of money there or not.
Wassup people. Sh-t snow is back.
Everything green fighting back. But its snowing now. Minnesota's finest big Agribusiness employees out for a healthy run. And I am waiting for their return.

J flys a kite real quick before it storms
locals tell us this is more like summer weather. high of 90, real humid. drops to 74 overnight. Went for a bike ride with Bearcat. Took a nap. chatted with my flunkies on the internet. That is all.
Going for broke on the key lime pie.
Also had 2 margaritas, and a 16 oz landshark. Prices down here are out of control. But it's ending soon.

Sanibel island. Live with the Silverbacks.
The pictures mostly say it all. We got beach, we got silverbacks, we got sister with brood in tow. Just finished a mike's hard lemonade, working on a blue moon with no possibility of a random drug test on the horizon(haha). Listening to the happy babblings of the Silverbacks, going to go nap. Weather back in Minnesota is horrible. Although it could be worse. My heart goes out to you all back there grinding out time til 60 degrees. I will drink another mike's and in your honor. Then I will take a nap in your honor. Then I will try and get my sister to run a little bit in your honor. Then I will sit on the beach and stare out to sea in your honor.

Gotta love those Sea cows..
These gelatinous blob like creatures have all the answers. And some crafty ideas about how to store your chardonnay as well. The local coal fired power plant exhausts heated water into a local bay where all of these gentle manatees pile up in the winter months. In the same manner that Minnesotas homeless humans and wintering pigeons hangout near the heated bus shelters and factory exhaust vents.
Sherm is having a grouper sandwich and so are we!
Taking in some of that "local flavor". Grouper sandwich and bearcat is going for some catfish. Take that Sherm!
Mr helicopter wants to watch the action up close!
Not wanting to miss the action, I race down to the end of the pier to mingle with the rest of the shoreside folks. Local Wiseman wearing cool wrap around shades and beat up baseball cap says that big boat peacocks are playing a game that is the equivalent of "scavenger hunt", where they travel to different locations at different times. The helicopter is there to get some good footage of the spectacle for some post game ego-stroking. The whole scene is pretty funny, it just occurred to me that if I had beer in me it might get even funnier. And the bar just opened...
Local upper crust puffs and struts.
JUICE likes lions. All I have is a Tiger though.
They just lie around all day. Occasionally get up and flex and strut. Someone will eventually throw a carcass in and they will devour it. Repeat ad nausea...

Here is a nice one of Mr alligator.
A well fed specimen. A couple of brazen rogues had just finished trying to start something. Alligator don't care. Alligator just smiles that sweet smile from behind the fence. Come on in, I'm just a peaceful flesh hungry reptile he seems to say....
Friendly duck. Wants some grub.
Pretty aggressive animal panhandling going on. Watch some kind of small ibis deep throat a 3-4 inch fry earlier.
Peaceful channel behind little harbor
A hotel hidden amidst a bunch of condos. A tiki bar. Average age about 56yrs. Spotty Internet. A view of the bay but the real action is back here with the fish ajumpin, birds aflyin and a huge eagle nest on the horizon
